A daylong glamorous speaker conference created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover “ideas worth spreading”.
Facilitating the live broadcast over a few years for TEDxVictoria was an amazing project. With their rigorous attention to detail and dynamic events, bringing precision to the live streaming required a large team and months of pre-event preparation and design meetings all to bring a very polished event to life.
There were three unique technical elements to this project: the density of diverse content, the use of underwater cameras for a live oil-and-water demonstration, and ensuring sufficient internet for the live broadcast due to an old theatre with terrible WI-FI.
A flawless online event full of amazing speakers, with viewers tuning in from all over Canada and the Pacific Northwest. We got some great feedback from the TED conference organizers, who watched the livestream and expressed how entirely impressed they were with the event and broadcast.
