Bonnie started her career as a music therapist, working with hearing impaired children who were learning to speak, sparking her interest in how children learn to read and write. Then, becoming a classroom and learning resource teacher and meeting her mentor Dr. Fleurette Sweeney she was inspired to learn about and share Singing English Song-Games & Techniques. Bonnie has been training educators across Canada and throughout South East Asia for the past 12 years to create joyful, inclusive classroom communities while building strong literacy foundations.
As an avid outdoorswoman being outside and connecting to nature is another passion of Bonnie’s. Bonnie became certified by Forest School Canada as a Forest School Practitioner and seven years ago started the Victoria Nature School Society https://www.victorianatureschool.com/. Bonnie has recently received her Permaculture Design Certification as well as her Permaculture Teacher Training Certification and loves learning about how to live more sustainably and regeneratively through lessons from nature. Bonnie has spent the last 7 years training educators across Canada on how to get students outside to connect with nature, through play, growing food, and exploring different ecosystems.

This event was recorded on May 4th, 2019. To attend the Singing English Level 2 Training on October 23, 2020 either in person or via the livestream, educators must either have attended in person a Level 1 training with Bonnie Davison or have completed watching the Level 1 livestream event before the Level 2 event on October 23, 2020. To support educators with the livetream Level 1 training, Bonnie is offering 4 free conference calls. Each call will be no more than a half-hour long and each call will focus on one of the 4 sections of the Level 1 training. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, hear the song-games and a way to help educators hold themselves accountable to finish the training before Level 2 begins!
Shortly before each call, you will be emailed the link to the conference calls. They will be via zoom so please make sure you can watch zoom videos on your computer or device. The calls are planned for Wednesdays from 3:30-4:00 pm PST on the following dates: Oct.2, 9, 16, and 23, 2019.
