PAST EVENT
The Heads Together Think Tank initiative is an opportunity for individuals and their families to have a say in developing an integrated provincial service delivery plan that addresses mental health, addictions, and brain injury. Your lived experience is critical in developing adequate services.
The Heads Together Think Tank is the initiative of the Constable Gerald Breese Centre for Traumatic Life Losses (CGB) and generously funded by the Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions and Vancouver Foundation.
Register to hear first-hand the recent Canada-wide environmental scan of identified best practices to serve individuals who are living with a brain injury and who are also experiencing mental health and/or addiction challenges. Our voices are needed to determine how research and prevention can be a part of the solution.

Dr. Paul van Donkelaar is co-founder and principal investigator for SOAR (Supporting Survivors of Abuse and Brain Injury through Research), and a professor in the School of Health and Exercise Sciences at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus.
