PAST EVENT
Indigenomics is a transformative Indigenous economic design platform working to redefine value, power and growth through an Indigenous lens. It exists in response to the historic and ongoing devaluing of Indigenous economies and knowledge systems — advancing the visibility, strength and leadership of Indigenous Nations, businesses and economic worldviews in shaping the future.
Through catalytic gatherings, consulting, innovation and global networks, Indigenomics brings together Indigenous leaders, entrepreneurs, institutions, governments and partners to activate new possibilities for investment, policy, sustainability and systemic change. Its work positions Indigenous Peoples not at the margins of modern economies, but as powerful economic leaders — building generational value and contributing essential knowledge to the challenges of our time.
At the heart of the movement is a larger vision: economies shaped by relationship, responsibility and reciprocity; Indigenous economic strength recognized and activated at scale; and Indigenous worldviews understood as vital to the future of global wellbeing. Indigenomics is not simply asking how Indigenous Peoples can participate more fully in the economy — it is helping reimagine what the economy itself can become.

What if the future of economics is not simply about growth, extraction and accumulation — but about relationship? Responsibility to land. Reciprocity between peoples. Respect for the living systems upon which all economies ultimately depend.
Indigenomics NOW is a 24-hour Global Indigenous Economic Forum grounded in Indigenous identity, tribal lineage and natural law. Following the sun’s pathway around the world, the gathering brings Indigenous voices, leaders and knowledge systems into a global conversation about economic design — moving across time zones, territories and cultures in an extraordinary shared journey around the planet.
Structured through **13 streams of content reflecting the 13 moons** and **four stages reflecting the four directions**, the Forum creates space for traditional and contemporary Indigenous economic knowledge, sustainable leadership, cultural wisdom, business innovation and bold new approaches to prosperity. At its heart is a powerful organizing principle: **Life at the Center** — an invitation to rethink how we define wealth and to imagine economic systems rooted in responsibility, reciprocity and respect.
This is more than a conversation about Indigenous participation in existing economies. It is an invitation to encounter Indigenous economic worldviews as vital sources of knowledge for the future — and to explore what becomes possible when land, relationship, culture, future generations and the continuity of life itself are restored to the heart of economic thinking. Join us for a global gathering unlike any other, and experience a living constellation of Indigenous voices illuminating new pathways forward.

Indigenomics NOW will be broadcast live from Sunset Labs, a professional media and event production studio in Victoria, British Columbia. With no in-person audience, the studio will become the production heart of this 24-hour global gathering — bringing together live speakers, remote contributors, presentations and Indigenous voices from around the world into one seamless, multi-camera broadcast.
Built specifically for ambitious virtual and hybrid experiences, Sunset Labs combines professional broadcast technology with a deeply human approach to connection and storytelling. From here, the Forum will follow the sun across time zones and territories — a global digital gathering produced from the traditional, ancestral and unceded homelands of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, now known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations.
